City Exchange

Working together for the good of our city.

For Salisbury

We love our city and want to see it prosper. With so many individuals, churches and organisations working to alleviate social challenges, we believe this goal is best achieved by working together and knowing what services are available.

Frequently asked questions

  • City Exchange is a network of more than 80 individuals, churches and organisations who are addressing the greatest needs of our city. St Paul’s facilitates a space where we can get to know each other, share what we’re doing and support one another.

  • We have many individuals and organisations in our network who are not religious. Our Christian values underpin all the work we do in hosting City Exchange, but all we ask is for mutual respect.

  • City Exchange is free and always be.

  • We’re always happy to welcome new organisations. Anyone who works toward alleviating social challenges and shares our values is welcome to apply to join. Our current network includes CAP (Christians Against Poverty), Acorn Trust, Silver Salisbury, Safer and Supportive Salisbury, Salisbury City Council, DWP, Safe Families and many more!

  • You’ll be part of a strategic network of more than 80 individuals and organisations, allowing us to bring our knowledge together, share what is happening across the city and - where appropriate - reference services.

  • We meet for an hour and a half every second month. The first 45 minutes to 1 hour is spent sharing what we are all doing, along with anything of interest coming up. The rest of the time is open for networking. Tea, coffee and eats are always available!

Ask about joining

If you’re interested in being part of this network, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for individuals, organisations or churches who share our values and are working to make Salisbury a better place. You’ll need to tell us a bit about yourself and your organisation, if applicable, and what you do. After submitting an initial enquiry, we’ll be in touch with you to discuss what happens next.
