A little update for you all!

Loads of things in the pipeline at the mo, so I thought a quick update would be good!

This Sunday, Impact meets for the second in its LOVE series, looking at the issues associated with growing up - so do join us!

Encounter AM continues its exploration of "Enjoy and Achieve" with Steve and Martin, as they head into scripture to see if the Government's aims are in line with God's ideas.

What a great weekend!

Wow! What a great weekend! Once again God's faithfulness was incredible as we saw people engage with God in worship, in decisions, and in friendships. Heatree simply is Holy Ground, and I am so grateful for all God did over the weekend.

Apocalypse & Heaven?!?!

 Sunday night was billed as being the scary, doom and gloom session as we looked at the subject of 'end times'.

Aidy kicked off the evening with a few videos designed to communicate the worlds view on the end of the world. Words like 'rapture' and 'apocalypse' were mentioned in conjunction with death and destruction, but we delved a little bit deeper as we sought to understand what Revelation is really trying to tell us.

Only a few days to go before 61 of us head off to Dartmoor for our annual Encounter Weekend Away!  I can hardly wait (until I look at the list of things to sort before Friday morning!)!

Somewhere between the Beginning and the End!

It's all happening this weekend!

Rushing from A to B has never been more fun than this week with a mix of one to ones, TaGs, and arranging community service for tonight!  We have a great project decorating a bedroom for a disabled lady who longs to brighten up her flat!  And then the Lounge to follow!

As you will have noticed, the notes on Creation from last Sunday have not appeared... so apologies, but will get to it next week!  In the meantime, don't miss this Sunday with The Holy Spirit being our focus in Impact and Stay Safe 2 hitting Encounter.

That was a GOOD weekend!

Do you know, I learnt lots this weekend!  God does that to you - even when you've been at this sort of thing for a LONG time! It all started in Impact where Chris and I were looking at Jesus: A man with a difference. After my brilliant maths tricks (ha!) we looked at Mark 4:35-41 where Jesus calms the storm and explored how both Jesus and the disciples felt.

The Encounter Weekend Away is nigh!

The BEST weekend of our year is back on 19-21 Feb when Encounter heads to Dartmoor for its annual weekend away at Heatree House. A fantastic centre, Heatree has become holy ground over the last decade as we've met with God, heard from Him, and seen lives transformed. We've also had some right laughs, and enjoyed some amazing activities and entertainment.

Wow!  Sunday was GOOD! We had record numbers in the morning sessions, and very successful planning meetings in both Impact and Encounter.
