Sorry but the blog had technical problems and got a bit stressed yesterday! Now back to say WOW what a great weekend away Impact had and how much we have to thank God for with young people coming to Christ, and God doing great things amongst us!
And the weather was stunning as is the wonderful location of Branksome, Poole. Thanks to all who came and dared to spend a weekend in the same Hall as us all! And special thanks to the leaders for all their hard work (and the cooked breakfast!).
Right now I'm up to my eyeballs in the July Project, visiting potential placements. If you've finished your GCSEs or A Levels and hve the 13-17th July free (or any part thereof) then do book in to join us as we focus on tidying, decorating, and gardening for supported tenancies - folks with a history of mental health issues - and return to the wonderful Women's Refuge to paint some murals for the children to enjoy. The JP is always a great week in which God surprises us with lots to learn about ourselves, about the Kingdom of God, and about the people of this fine city. Hear more about it on Sunday night when we consider "Church for the Poor" and I tell some stories of how God has used us in the past.
Will keep blogging up what's coming if the site lets me play!!
