ETT Project Manager's Report - 26 April 2010

An update on the Enlarging The Tent (ETT) Project was given to the Annual Church Meeting on 26 April, covering Phase 1, Phase 2 and finance.

Exciting new plans for SP2!

Just as we were wondering about how to progress the plans for our new SP2 youth and community centre, our wonderful God has provided a brilliant new way forward.

A joint development agreement with a developer will now enable us to have a brand new tailor-made three story building at minimal cost.

ETT Questionnaires - Thank you!

Many thanks to all of you who took time to complete and return the ETT questionnaire - we had 48 responses in total which is a great reponse. We are especially grateful to those of you who added written comment; we appreciate and value your input. A team is reviewing your comments and considering how they should affect our current plans for SP2. Once this is completed, we will provide an update on the key themes of the comments, along with a response to them.

ETT SP2 Prayer Focus Feed-back

We have collated all the marvellous feed-back that was received on the SP2 Prayer Focus days.

These are very encouraging and inspiring messages and are to be commended to all to read.

ETT - Gift Sunday Report Back

Initial calculations show that a wonderful total of c. £150,000 from 75 new pledges was received from Gift Sunday on 22nd November. Others may come in over the next few days. It is quite clear that sacrifical giving continues apace. Thank you all so very much!

However, this is only 15% of the second £million, and, even though we are seeking to do it in bite-sized chunks, this is not even enough to start Stage 1 of Phase 2.
