SP2 Planning Approval Granted

On Thursday 5th May, the Southern Area Planning Committee of Wiltshire County Council gave their approval to the planning application to develop 159-161 and 169 Fisherton Street. The development will allow the former school to be converted into 14 flats and an office, and the former Shergolds undertakers buildings will be demolished to make way for a new purpose built youth and community centre 'SP2' for St Paul's Church. Council members were very complimentary about the design which would smarten up one of the main gateways into the City and bring investment into the area. The community aspect of SP2 was also commended. More details to follow soon.
