I'm off today as part of the 'Passion for Life' team going to Wallington, Surrey. There's a team of 16 of us, and our aim is to present the good news of Jesus clearly. We want people to be able to find a new faith in Jesus.

We expect that some people will come to faith this week, and others will need to find out more about Christianity and join the Alpha course. Do pray for the two churches involved - Holy Trinity and St Patricks - that God would encourage them, and give them confidence in the months ahead to continue to build relationships with the many people in the community who they will have invited to events in this coming week.

I'd be grateful for your prayer for me and the team - that we trust in God, and see Him at work, and that God would speak through our efforts to explain our experience of faith and our understanding of who God is and how he invites us to know Him for ourselves.

As I go off on to Surrey (20-28 March) - do be thinking about our next Alpha course at St Paul's. It begins with an introductory supper on the 20th April at 7.30pm and is a great way for people to find out more about the Christian faith, in an open environment where you can ask questions and discuss issues of faith with other people who are enquiring.
