Richard, Ruth, Esther, Thomas, Bryony, Catherine and Frances Morgan are soon to be on the move to the United States. Richard has accepted the post of Rector of Church of the Good Samaritan in Paoli (a small town in suburban Philadelphia, PA).
Richard studied in the States while at theological college, and has always harboured a desire to work for a church in the US if the opportunity presented itself, so this is exciting news for him. The church feels like the perfect place to serve, and him and Ruth have really enjoyed meeting people there and have a real sense of this being the place that God is calling them to, and of excitement over the opportunities for ministry and growth that is evident in the parish.
Moving is dependent on US immigration, and they have been advised that it will take at least 6 months to sort everything out. Please do pray for Ruth and him and the family as they look to the work that God has for them over the next six months in Salisbury, and beyond that look to what God will do through them at Good Samaritan.
