New News...

Last weekend the news came in that the Encounter group had fulfilled the challenge of getting 20 more new bookings for the weekend away... which means the leaders have to fulfil their part of the bargain - Sophie and Steve will be doing ballet, Trev will be having his head shaved and Paul... will be eating an orange!? (he has a phobia of oranges).

Thinking ahead...

We're into the term now and thinking ahead to what we'll be looking at in Impact and Encounter, which includes the Encounter Weekend Away (book on asap).

Dear Friends

We have now been back in Malawi since Wednesday. Our journey was good and all OK at the house apart from a few weeks worth of beasties ( flies, cockroaches and other unmentionables ) to sweep up.

New Term - New Theme

We had a great Sunday last week thinking about what God might want us to do and how we should move forward into this term. So we’re thinking about new themes for Impact and Encounter that will challenge us all and help us to keep focused on God in every area of our lives, more information on that this weekend!

Arriving...

So after a rather hectic Christmas move we've made it to Salisbury! It's great to be here and I'm sure I'll get to meet lots of you and forget names over the next few months...

We arrived on the 20th December to Salisbury and found that there was a slight mix up with some of our things being delivered and being stored. Our daughter had no clothes and we had no shoes - not ideal! Other than that the move has been great. We've been very blessed and know that God has had his hand on us throughout.

Morgans packing up and ready to go

We're right in the middle of Pickfords packing all our stuff up ready to move to the States where Richard is going to be installed as the Rector of the Church of the Good Samaritan on the 28th January. We're flying out on the 10th January.

Many thanks for your kind farewells, and the lovely picture of St Paul's that you gave us on Christmas Day. Ruth and the children are planning on being at one last Sunday morning service this Sunday; Richard is taking the morning service at St Martin's.

Lots of people have asked for our address details in the States.
