We're having a great week at New Wine. Our shared meal today saw a great crowd of St Paulites gathered round together to talk eat and play.

We've had great teaching in the morning from Simon Ponsonby and John Peters and in the evening from a variety of people.

Many thanks to all 138 volunteers who served with us on Another Big Saturday on 17th July! It was our largest yet, with small teams decorating, gardening, and cleaning for local residents right across Salisbury in 29 placements.
As the organising team, we recognise that some placements were particularly demanding and we are extremely grateful to all who worked so hard in sometimes very adverse (chalk!) situations!

On Sunday evening (27th June) a group of relatively ordinary people (St Paul's congregation!) came together in a relatively ordinary place (St Paul's church) to share stories of our extraordinary God at work in our lives today.

St Paul's had the privilege of hosting The Saltmine Theatre Company's production 'From Eden to Eternity' last night and I, for one, found their presentation of the Bible in just over an hour, both entertaining and powerful.

We are getting ready to go to Cuba for 3 weeks of investing in the Christians there. Sandro has been going there since before the beginnings of the YWAM Cuba. Now they have a team and to date they have had more than 40 people go through the (Discipleship Training School) DTS programme. Unlike most places it runs for a year, meeting in blocks of 2 or 3 weeks at a time. The feeling is that Cuba is ripe for change and we need to get the Cuban team ready for when that happens so they can be a strong influence for God and His Kingdom.

Another part of our heart is in Cuba. Sandro has more than 15 years of investment in the Christian community there and we both want to continue to invest in that nation. We will be there for the month of May (finances permitting) to be part of a number of events. If you want to know more about these, please ask and we can talk.
PRAYER POINTERS
- Thanks for a great start to married life!
- For the building project - safety of the workers, relationships with neighbours, finances

We long to see people, young, younger and old, waking up to God, waking up to their potential in Him, waking up to His flow in their lives. We both have experience of providing spaces where this can happen with artistic expressions as a natural part of the process. People encounter God, receive His touch and thereby express more of His beauty and truth in the world.
