We are getting ready to go to Cuba for 3 weeks of investing in the Christians there. Sandro has been going there since before the beginnings of the YWAM Cuba. Now they have a team and to date they have had more than 40 people go through the (Discipleship Training School) DTS programme. Unlike most places it runs for a year, meeting in blocks of 2 or 3 weeks at a time. The feeling is that Cuba is ripe for change and we need to get the Cuban team ready for when that happens so they can be a strong influence for God and His Kingdom. In terms of arts, Cuba already influences the world in the areas of music and dance, so again, our aims are to target those areas for the Lord. Last year I was training a young woman in dance. She´d decided not to go to any of the many secular schools as she wants to remain ´set apart´.

As Christian Solidarity Worldwide investigate injustices against Christians in Cuba we feel God`s purposes are moving on in that country and we want to be part of that plan.
