Focus is for children aged 7 to 11. Focus children
leave part way through the service and meet in the Youth
Hall. They are escorted back to church at the end of
the session by the leaders.
Focus follow a teaching programme designed to gain
a deeper understanding of the characters and themes
from the Bible. The sessions include central teaching,
small group discussions, games and crafts. On
the first Sunday of the month we have a shorter session
to allow the children to return to church in time for
communion. On the other Sundays the children are split
into two groups:
- Focus 1 for year groups 3 & 4
- Focus 2 for year groups 5 & 6
Each term both groups have a Fun Focus session where
we spend time together, trying out different activities
and getting to know each other better.
All the children's work operates
to the standards and values
of St Paul's Child Protection Policy.
