'A Christmas Carol', by Charles Dickens. Performed by the Saltmine Theatre Company

6.30pm, 20th December 2011

Dickens’ classic tale comes to life this Christmas at St Paul's Church in a theatrical spectacular, suitable for all the family!

Scrooge hates Christmas.  In fact he hates most things except money, and he doesn’t want to see a single penny of his hard-earned cash wasted.  So when Bob Cratchit, Scrooge’s loveable clerk dares to ask for Christmas Day off work the request receives a cold answer lacking any good will. As he goes to bed on Christmas Eve, Scrooge’s night takes an unexpected turn as he is visited by the Ghosts of his Christmas past, present and future.  Staring his lonely death in the face Scrooge awakes and knows that his past and present doesn’t need to determine where he will spend eternity.

This festive feast is filled with fun, song and dance and is sure to fill you with Christmas cheer.
