Our services are informal and include time to worship God through song, Bible teaching, prayer and meeting together over some refreshments. The current Teaching Programme can be found in our list of files to download. The usual format for services is as follows:
10.30am Morning Service
Morning services begin with family praise before the children and young people go to their own activities; the adults remain in the church for Bible teaching, further praise and, on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, Holy Communion.
6.30pm Evening Service
Hot drinks and cakes are served prior to the evening service, which is slightly more contemporary in style than the morning service. The evening service is followed by the Encounter meeting for 14-18 year olds at 8pm in the Church Centre. Holy Communion is shared on the 2nd and 4th Sunday evening of each month.
Your questions answered:
1) How long do the services last?
Morning and evening services last up to an hour and a half and we’d encourage you to stay around and introduce yourself to one of us afterwards!
2) Can I come if I’m not a Christian?
Of course. We believe God wants to meet with everyone so we pray that you might encounter Him as you come, even if you’re not a Christian yet. If you have questions about the Christian faith, why not speak to one of our leaders or consider coming to an Alpha course?
3) What should I wear?
You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in; some people come to Church in casual dress, others prefer to dress smart. We only ask that you consider others and avoid wearing anything that might offend or distract other people from worshipping God.
4) Where can I park?
We have limited car parking space on site. Please click here for more location and parking information.
Please contact the Church Office with any other questions you may have. Thank you.
