In recognition and gratitude for all that God has given to us, an additional 10% will go to support projects beyond our own boundaries. We have already been able to support projects in Africa and Eastern Europe (see below) and future projects may be within the Diocese, both missionary and lay, as well as overseas, and will extend our commitment to helping those in need.

Projects are selected by the PCC and grants are made to them, in an act of faith, as future pledges are made. Annual progress reports on these projects are then made to the congregation.

Projects we have helped so far include...

The House of Joshua, Bulgaria

working with The Trussell Trust

The Trussell Trust is a local Christian Charity that establishes life-changing community projects such as: The Food Bank (started here in Salisbury and now running nation-wide); the Re-Store and Re-fine social enterprises; and varied work with people living in extreme proverty in Bulgaria. The House of Joshua is one such project, providing a safe, loving environment for teenagers turned out from the orphanages at the age of 16 who would otherwise end up on the streets.

Pledges to Enlarging the Tent have enabled us to give £15,000 towards the development of this house, completed in April 2007.
